Palin Supporters Speak Out

Wayne turned me on to this program. It's called Red State Update:

For those interested in a more serious review of just one of the issues on the national agenda--a matter with a little more gravity than lipstick--check out the discussion of renewable energy by Thomas Friedman on an episode of Fresh Air from earlier this week.

Lol. Not hard to see the liberal blue beneath those red facades.

Funny. Unfortunately true. You'd think with all her wacky right fringe ideas, the media would have plenty of appropriate things to point out about Palin. Instead, they are going after her personally, which not only offends me, but also could make people feel sorry for her and more inclined to vote for her.

"the pit bull don't know how to get books banned"

This is almost as zany bizarro as "The Chicano TV Network" ;->

p.s. Shauna, if people are that stupid, let's all celebrate good times ahead, yahoo!

What depresses me, Shauna and everyone, and I've known it a long time anyway, is that truth doesn't matter.

She can stand up and blatantly lie and it's celebrated. Where's the moral watchdog James Dobson on that front? Is he OK with her displaying a lesson to the nation that it's OK to lie and lie and lie if it's toward a good end? The end justifies the means?

She didn't stop the bridge to nowhere. She lies about it and goes UP in the polls.

She didn't sell the jet on ebay, but her party says she did and she goes UP in the poll.

It's OK with the Rev. Dobson because it's important for the "good people" to win so they can be in charge and ban books with dirty words and exert other controls over the "bad people."

I AM loving the line: "Jesus was a community organizer, Pontius Pilate was a governor."

I watched in sad resignation as the Republicans danced around at the nomination of Palin. The base had felt let down. The media and most of America celebrated the rise of Obama and Clinton, the African American and the Woman, and the Republicans felt left out. In a stroke of genius, the party brought in Palin. Now the Republicans had their own woman. Never mind that she had no experience, knew little, and was a joke of a candidate....she had a vagina, for GODSAKES, and that vagina counted for something.

America, if McCain/Palin are elected, I am immediately staging a movement to rescind the right of women to vote.

I'm embarrassed to admit the one with the beard bears an uncanny resemblance (in every way) to one of my uncles.

RE: Stewart's quote: "I am immediately staging a movement to rescind the right of women to vote."

Sadly, would have to second that. I felt a petition to remove California from the US when they voted in Schwarzenegger was warranted, but what can ya do? People loves them some movie stars.
