Some free verse or just choppy prose. I don't write poetry much these days. Judge tenderly of me.
In A San Francisco Bookshop
I saw a man
In San Francisco
At a bookstore
Near The Purple Onion,
Squinting
Through two Pairs of spectacles
Double decker,
Stacked one on top of the other.
A scholar
A reader of books and thoughts
Struggling
Against body and
Time's degradation,
God's infinite jest.

I like it. Makes me think a bit of the Twilight Zone episode "Time Enough at Last."
I dig it ;) Nice work.
Cool poem! Definitely a keeper. Keep it up!
